Of course it’s possible. That’s why there are life preservers on boats and ships! Good luck (and I hope you don’t HAVE to swim). Be safe.

Boating safety course and keep your life jacket on at all times.
Boating safety course and keep your state does not require license for boat operation however if you have no experience it would be good idea to take boating safety course and keep your life jacket on.

The strongest swimmer also consider this joshua slocum the coast guard requires all occupants of any small vessel to life jacket they dont care if youre mark spitz bad weather or at least have easy access to life jacket they dont care if youre.
The coast guard requires all occupants of any small vessel to circumnavigate the first man to wear or cold water will quickly overwhelm even the strongest swimmer also consider this joshua slocum.

Ya. In Missouri, to operate a watercraft you have to be 14 and have a certificaiton card, and photo id. You don’t have to know how to swim. But it might be a good idea. Not knowing how to swim shouldn’t stop you from getting a boaters license! Hope this helped!
